The ÉSÉA acoustic self-regulating air inlet for indoor fitting is made from white polystyrene. The insect screen function of the grille is directly provided by the inlet airflow. For installation in main rooms (living and bedroom) to supply air renewal in single flowrate forced ventilation systems.
Available in flowrates of 15, 22, 30, or 45m³/h. The 15m³/h air inlet provides additional flowrates of 22 or 30 m³/h and the 22 m³/h allows up to 30 m³/h.
It works both on vertical walls and on inclined planes (e.g., roof skylights, undersides of roller shutter boxes).
The cowl for fitting to the external wall is made from UV- and weather-resistant polystyrene in the same colours as the air inlets. Exclusively for fitting to surfaces sheltered from bad weather. For non-sheltered surfaces please enquire with us.
On the inside, the base of the air inlet is centred on the slot and fastened by 3 screws (on the 354 x 12mm model) or 2 screws (on the 250 x 15mm and 250 x 12mm models). The cap is a push-on fit.
On the outside, the cowl is centred on the slot and fastened by 3 screws (on the 354 x 12mm model) or 2 screws (on the 250 x 15mm and 250 x 12mm models). Horizontal fitting. The components must be kept easily accessible for maintenance.
The ESEA 45 air inlet is designed for a 354 x 12 mm slot only.
ÉSÉA 15/22/30 m³/h air inlet: the inlet airflow rate is determined by the snap-off tabs (marked 15, 22, and 30) on the two regulator bar holding clips. The lowest remaining value indicates the flowrate.
The 15m³/h model can also be modified in-situ to provide flowrates of 22 or 30 m³/h by carefully breaking off the relevant snap-off tabs. Break the 2 tabs marked 15 to obtain 22m³/h and the 2 tabs marked 22 to obtain 30 m³/h.
The 22m³/h model can also be modified in-situ to provide a flowrate of 30 m³/h by carefully breaking off the relevant snap-off tabs. Break the 2 tabs marked 22 to obtain 30 m³/h.
ÉSÉA 45m³/h air inlet: the inlet airflow rate is found on the two retaining clips of the regulator bar (marking 45).
