BORÉA white plastic adjustable vents are designed for air supply and extraction in accommodation and office premises. They are specially designed for ceiling or wall mounting. When used as supply vents, their snap off deflectors are used to guide the air in the desired direction.

BORÉA vents can be used in conjunction with an RD type flow regulator (see RDR regulators).

They are made entirely from polystyrene and comprise a body, an adjustable centre disc, and closable grille enabling a varietyof flow settings. They can be fitted directly onto the duct or be used with an adapter or sleeve.

On duct: 

Fits directly onto the duct. The built-in lip seal holds it in place and keeps it airtight.

On drywall adapter: 

Make a hole in the ceiling at the nominal diameter plus approx. 5mm. Insert the adapter in the hole with an anticlockwise twist then lock it in place by turning it clockwise. A seal ensures an airtight fit between the sleeve and the duct. Fit the vent without its seal to the drywall sleeve.

Installing with flow regulator:

The RD flow regulator fits directly into the duct.

On supply ducts, the minimum distance between the BORÉA vent and the régulator must be at least three times the diameter.

On extraction ducts, the minimum distance between the BORÉA vent and the regulator must be at least equal to the diameter.
